3 Yummy, Healthier Cookie Recipes

Cookies bakin’ in the oven … um um .. does anything build or bring back memories more than that wonderful aroma wafting through the house? The great times spent together in the kitchen baking and then sharing what’s left of the results with friends (notice we didn’t say licking the batter spoon – raw eggs doncha’ know?) Unfortunately, these delicious little treats can be the first thing to drop out of our daily diet due to the higher calorie count and rather limited nutritional value. To help provide an opportunity have your cookie and build more goodness into it at the same time we’re happy to bring you the following cookie recipes fortified with AdvoCare’s Meal Replacement Shakes. By adding the Meal Replacement Shake powder to these recipes, you added calcium, fiber and vitamins for a great tasting cookie that packs a load of good nutrition (just don’t get too carried away and eat ‘em all at once).  Enjoy these cookies in good health!

 Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookies

  •  1 (17.5 oz.) package chocolate chip cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup margarine, soft
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons water 1 (2.08 oz.) package
  • AdvoCare Vanilla Meal Replacement Shake powder

Combine cookie mix and shake powder in bowl. Stir to blend. Add egg, oil and water. Beat well until soft dough forms. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake according to directions on cookie mix package.

Makes 36 cookies.

Doubly Nutritious Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 (19.85 oz.) package chocolate chip cookie mix
  • 1 (2.08 oz.) package AdvoCare Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake powder
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Combine cookie mix and shake powder in bowl. Stir to blend. Add egg, oil and water. Beat well. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake according to directions on cookie mix package. Makes 36 cookies. Berry Sugar Cookies + M&Ms

 1 (1 lb. 1.5 oz. ) package sugar cookie mix

  •  2 (2.08 oz.) packages AdvoCare Berry Meal Replacement Shake powder
  •  1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup mini M&Ms

 Combine cookie mix and shake powder in bowl. Stir to blend. Add butter, eggs and water. Mix well. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with several M&Ms. Bake as directed on cookie mix package.

Makes 36 cookies.
